Sharing is Caring!

Growing up with three sisters sharing wasn’t always easy; especially when it came to clothes, the remote or the car. Clothes and remotes aside, sharing a car today is a lot easier than you would think.

Carshare Vermont is an amazing non-profit organization based in Burlington that offers members “the convenience and freedom of a car on demand at a fraction of the cost of owning one.”

I’ve been a Carshare member for almost 2 years and was beyond excited when they asked if I’d be willing to share my membership story! (more below)

Carshare Vermont’s fleet currently consists of 5 Toyota Priuses, 4 Subaru Imprezas and a Toyota Tacoma. Each vehicle has an assigned pod (parking spot) so parking is guaranteed and with pods located all over the city a Carshare car is always close by. I’ve used the Carshare fleet for everything from grocery shopping and moving (twice) to delivering reports to clients at the last minute. For more information about Carshare Vermont, their mission or their fleet visit their website.

*Thank you to Carshare for the opportunity to share my membership story!*

How to you get around your hometown? Does your city or town have a car sharing program?
